SOCIAL MEDIA MISSION

Glenn served as the student digital media coordinator for the #GATALifestyle social media accounts from the 2015 - 2018 seasons. During his tenure, the brand saw unprecedented success on a variety of platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Vine, Tik-Tok and Instagram. In his first season with the brand, the total number of unique impressions increased over 1.5 Million and contrary to team performance saw a continuous growth in both 2016 & 2017 seasons. In 2016, Glenn oversaw a rebranding of the organization that incorporated both the state of Georgia and Georgia Southern's primary letter mark to improve the brand. Best of all, in 2018, Glenn and the #GATALifestyle team saw over 5.5 million impressions solely on their Twitter account which included the team's appearance in the Camellia Bowl where Georgia Southern won in walk-off fashion. The most important brand guideline incorporated by Glenn within the brand is the focus on potential student athletes as their primary audience. Making content recruit based is where Glenn feels a large majority of their success within the organization seems from. What the recruits and current student athletes buy into is what amounts to success within a program. When PSA's and current SA's value content of a brand, it improves recruiting, fan interaction and overall quality on social media.
